Anywhere with shops and decent coffee near airport please?

Just picking up the sis from Cardiff Airport tomorrow and wondered can anyone suggest somewhere to go (not into central Cardiff) where we could have a mosey around and maybe get a coffee? Whats in Cowbridge anyone?

Sorry to sound so dense but we only been in Wales a year and live near Llanelli so a bit out of my local area!

I think Cowbridge is probably the best place close to the airport where you can have a walk down the street and have a coffee. There are some interesting shops, some nice pubs, etc. I don't rate it as highly as many people but it ain't a bad place.

And if there's a breeze you could always take a kite up the common!

What about Culverhouse Cross it has a fab big Marks and Spencer theres a nice coffee shop its about 10mins from the airport...

No need to be soo sarcastic. If you look at the RAC or AA website it is approx 8miles from Culverhouse Cross to Cardiff Airport which will take approx 14mins. I suggest you stop being such a drama queen:mad: :mad:

You could always try Barry Town great little shopping centre and a few coffee shops, not to far from the Airport
