Iva settlement

I entered into an IVA, but did not pay monthly, instead agreeing a full amount with each debtor.
I have a settlement filed with the Court dated February 2010.
I am confused.
When can I apply for credit again ?
I thought it was 12 months after settlement ?
Am I still governed by 6 years from the date I took out the IVA ?
If so, was I foolish paying up in full, as it seems there was no advantage in doing so.

Yes you will still have six years to wait as it was entered on your file.
Plus you will have defaults from your debts.
Look on the bright side you are debt free and why would you want credit again?
