Interest free cash

can anyone tell me whether it is possible to apply for a credit card and then have cash transferred to my current account interest free?

    I suggest for more detail you search for the several dozen posts on this subject/transferring to a loan that appear each week.

    You will probably need 2 cards to do this. A credit card with a 0% offer on balance transfers and an Egg Money card. You route the money from the 0% BT card to Egg Money and then you can route it from Egg Money into a bank account. There would be no interest payable on either part of this and there will be no fee by Egg for their part. However, there will probably be a Balance Transfer fee payable to the 0% card company. You need to find a capped fee or one of the few that still don't have a fee. See Martin's article on Stoozing (above) or visit the stoozing website for more detail.
