    If anyone is worried about the money reaching the intended recipient there is always lend with care. You lend small amounts to help people in developing worlds to start/ build a business and life themselves out of poverty. As you are lending not donating, you can keep re-lending and help lots of people. You don't get interest, but the default rate is very low.

    I really like it because rather than giving charity, you are saying I believe in your business and I am prepared to invest in it.

    you can always request that your donation should be used for a specific project, and not go into the 'general fund'.
