I am a p/t worker i have been off work since the 1st of august, Due to gastro problems relating to stress (mainly house move money and worried about my DD and her health problems), my wages are 245 a month after tax. I have now been told i am not eligible for any payments for sick from my employer.
I currently get income support £33.32 a week as i do not work enough to take care of myself and two children. I also get housing benefit and council tax benefit, child tax credit and child benefit.
I read on the Sick pay page on the Gov website and it says as i don't earn 100 a week i do not qualify. Is there anything i can claim as this is a vital source of income for me?
Secondly my child tax credits didn't go in last week and i have tried thurs, fri sat and today but cannot get through
Stress levels through the roof, i'm back to not sleeping as well as having the worst heartburn and stomach craps.

not sure but I would expect your income support may increase as there will be no deduction for income0

I agree. Your Income Support should increase while you are off sick.
Telephone them and let them know that you are not receiving SSP.
They may want fit notes/form SSP1 from your employer (form says why your employer isn't paying sick pay)
The form can be found here:

Thank you for all your help and advice i called the income support people and they were really helpful!
They are going to give me income support until i am able to return to work!, i thought i was going to have to sign myself off the sick paper and go back in! looking like a ghost passing out and not being able to stand for 5 hours at a time!
Thanks everyone sometimes i find the government websites a little unhelpful and have no idea where to turn, it's wonderful to come on here and get advice/suggestions!

Where is the father of your children in all this? Any maintenance playments? Have you had a conversation with him and explained the circumstances?
D70How about no longer being masochistic?
How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?0
