Just a heads up for people not aware that lch.com charge 1.5% charges for all types of cards except credit cards which are charged at 2.5%. Nice to know whats coming at the end when you are booking.

Ouch! Never having used them or looked at their website (I can't access it from my work laptop) do they include the charge in their quoted prices? You seem to be implying that you weren't aware until you got to the end of the booking process. If that's the case do we have another Ryanair-type situation here? i.e. if they make an additional charge on all cards and the customer has no other way of paying then isn't there a rule that says they need to be upfront about the charges??£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

If you go through topcashback they give 6% on LCH.
The government may think they are doing a great job stopping these charges for using cards but another way will be found to get the money by these firms.
Easyjet don`t charge for card use but they put a £9 charge per booking and call it something else.
Getting ripped off in Britain is far from over and the government`s big idea won`t stop it.0
