Hi guys,
We submitted our full application through our IFA on weds 15th August. Its a fairly straight forward application - 1st time buyers asking for 2x our joint income, no chain and seller has no chain. I am inpatient!does anyone know what kind of lead times were looking at at the minute for nationwide to send the valuer out?have spoken to the estate agent this morning and they haven't had a call yet to request an appointment. Am I expecting to much too soon? Thanks

House purchase is like pulling a piece of string. The length of which is variable. There's no standard time scale.0 -
It's so irritating not knowing!i understand now why people say moving house is one of the most stressful times of your life!0

I wouldn't advise getting stressed within 3 working days. There's no reason to suggest that your isn't application being processed. The mortgage is often the least stressful part of the process.0 -
It's when you read people are having the valuation done 2 days after their application...makes me worry!Am I wrong to be worrying?0

They didn't even look at my application for a couple of weeks...0

Polly05- how long did your process take from apllication to offer?0

We applied end of June and our valuation took place a couple of days after our application was sent by our broker.
We received our official mortgage offer on August 9th...
Yes, it feels like it takes ages. And I thought nothing would be more stressful. How wrong I was :rotfl: Now we're dealing with conveyancing and our solicitor has unearthed some pretty "interesting" things that will need to be dealt with0 -

Applied 6th July, got acceptance text on 13 August, paper copy a few days later...0 -
Ive got 2 applications going through with them for clients, presuming they dont need any extra info theyre working on a 10 day turnaround time at the minute (theyre well behind!). If they need extra info then its another 10 days from when they receive that info!
