Tax on JSA

Hello,
I received JSA for a couple of months, last year, before I started working. I know JSA is taxed, but I just wondered, is it taxed automatically, I do I have to declare it in some way?
Thanks

It isn't taxed automatically. When you sign off you should have got a P45 from the job-centre to give to your employer so the tax will be correct. If all you get in a tax year is JSA then you will have no tax to pay as its below your tax allowance.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
