Can I change my hotel on a package holiday?

My friends recently came back from the same place that me and my girlfriend are going in 4 weeks time and they said it was really the worst place they have been to.
The booking is with Jet2 holidays. Do you know if its (generally) possible to change hotels? I am sure there would be a hefty fee if it is possible, but I feel a bit stupid asking about it. (duh of course you cant).
Can anyone inform me? It's the first holiday for 7 year so i am kind of already dreading it.

Have you checked the terms and conditions of your booking? That would be my first port of call.0

Hi,
If its a Jet2Holidays package their website states the following:
"Any changes are subject to an amendment fee, plus any increase in cost. The amendment fee will be advised at the time of the change. This is payable at the time of the change and is non-refundable. You cannot make any changes once you have checked in online. Some changes may be applicable to cancellation fees if made within 21 days of departure."
So i'd give them a phone and see what they say. Explain why you want to change hotels and I'm sure they will see what they can do for you!
Good luck!0 -

People like or hate places for different reasons. I promise you one thing, you wouldn't want to stay at some of the places we've stayed
(in Asia from 70p night) but they there fine for us.0 -
Generally you can change for an admin fee, just call you've nothing to lose by asking0

I would have a look at the hotel on Trip Advisor, if it does have lots of bad reports maybe you can mention them to the agent and see what they say, but as Bob says, people like different things.0
