Tell you what, why don't you go walk 40 miles and get back to me when you've done with how long it took you? Bearing in mind I'm mildly asthmatic.
Idiot :rotfl:0 -
andy2004 > you have been on JSA for 19 years?
How do you run a car on JSA if you have been on it for 19 years and how do you get insurance as it must be sky high, no?
I was in my job centre for 35 mins last Friday so really find it hard if you have been on JCA for 19 years that you are there two minutes.
Yours must be bang on with the times you sign then eh and not that bothered.0 -

I'm on JSA, I was in the job centre last week for little more than 2 minutes. They call my name, ask me how i'm getting on, sign my sheet, ask me to sign it and that's it. 2 minutes is about it.0 -

I know! haha and saying if i did it on a bike i'd be there in no time. My name aint Bradley Wiggins! :rotfl:
Last time i went out on the bike I cycled 7 miles and was barely in any state to stand up afterwards never mind cycling 40. And that 7 miles took me about 45 minutes.0 -
So they are always on time with your appointments? They dont ask to see the jobs you have applied for? Don't ask you if you have had any interview? Ask you were you look for work? None of that?I'm on JSA, I was in the job centre last week for little more than 2 minutes. I think he takes a brief glance at what i've applied for but he's never asked me if i've had any interviews. As for being on time, yep pretty much every week. I go in about a half hour before they close though so it's usually fairly quiet. Mind you, last week i had time to kill so went in early, handed my sheet in and sat down and exected to wait until my actual time but they saw me there and then.0 -
a pack? I only ever got a letter saying I get JSA and how much it is. This however does not prove I get it now.Everyone who signs on receives a pack confirming their claim, how much they're getting, terms and conditions yadder yadder yadder ... etc through the post. I know this because I've signed on three times in the past and in my current job deal with JSA claimants on a daily basis (who produce them when asked for them for funding purposes).
Is that not good enough?
I'm sorry but JCP staff are genuinely busy enough to be able to ask for 24 hours notice. If travelling is such an issue why don't you ask them to post it?
Expecting, in very busy JCP centres nowadays, that staff will print off documents (that you should already have) proving your claim at the drop of a hat just isn't going to happen.0
