Problem paying in foreign currency for holiday with cc

can any one help/
I paid for a holiday using a foreign travel agent ( who we have used x3 before) for a holiday to Turkey. The price was taken from my card in turkish lire, by the time I came to pay the card the amount having been converted from pounds to lire then back to pounds the cost was £65.00 more!. This has not happened before do I have any come back on the credit card company, or am I just unlucky the rate was different?Advise would be great Thanks
