Benefits board

I am really worried as I have found myself slightly addicted to troll-watching on this forum, tuning in almost every day, desperately searching for certain names that I know will supply me with my fix. Whilst I am rarely disappointed, it invariably leaves me feeling empty and slightly sick.
I had to claim benefits myself in the past, due to desperate circumstances out of my control. For those of you lucky enough never to have had to, believe me it is no picnic. It's degrading, depressing, intrusive and leaves you feeling desperate.
Whilst it's obvious some people on here just seem to want advice on how best to milk the system, which, I agree, is completely wrong, there are plenty who are genuinely in need of a lifeline. It sickens and saddens me to constantly see them told 'get a job, support yourself, stop scrounging from us tax payers' etc, when they are desperate enough to ask for help. It must be heart-breaking for the genuine posters.
This is hardly NEWSFLASH material, but the fact is there are very, very few jobs out there, and full time in particular jobs are like gold dust. When I eventually found one it felt like all my Christmases had come at once, despite being little or no better off financially. I personally hope that I never have to claim benefits again *shudders*.
So for all you trolls on here, softy that I am, I feel sorry for you too, as you are obviously quite unhappy people. Just remember that in life, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I hope none you are ever in a desperate situation, where you not only need financial help, but often just a little support and some kind words. I am a big believer in karma tho, so it wouldn't surprise me if you did.

But the trolls won't read it here, which is why I posted in the benefits section which seems to be their hunting ground, waiting for unsuspecting victims, usually first time posters needing constructive advice. It's a real shame because this could be a great site, but it's being spoilt by a handful of people. Why don't you remove some or all of their poisonous replies? It's a disgrace!0

We have a system whereby people can report offensively unhelpful posts and users. Unfortunately many just moan and wait for mods to patrol the boards and delete/ban as they see fit.
The truth, which is well publicised here, is that this forum does not have mods but an admin team to whom reports are made by us, the users. We are asked to do our bit to police this forum as with over 1m users there's no way that staff can monitor every thread and post. The board guides help, but they are also human and can't do everything for us.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0
