Cancelled credit card - interest after?

I recent paid off and cancelled my Natwest student CC. I pad it off on the 10th August and called to cancel it on the 15th.
My last automated debit payment came out on July 30th and the interest usually comes out slightly after that.
When I called and cancelled I did ask 'is this all I have to do?' and the lady said yes (i also asked if it was ok to cancel my DD), I am just concerned that I may owe some interest for the period between the last interest date and the date I paid it off in full.
Usually I would expect a letter to come to my house in that instance, but as I am moving house soon I am worried it will get lost then mess up my credit. I am changing my address with natwest who I bank with anyway, but the CC all seems to be run a bit differently and I am worried that my address won't get changed with them. The account has gone from my online banking also.
Can anyone shed any light?

Should have done that but after I asked if I could cancel it on the phone I did I am moving house and trying to clear up my bank account DD's etc. I think I will just ring up and make sure they have all the right addresses and keep on top of it until its definitely done. It has already been removed from my online banking.0 -
You should in theory get charged interest from your last statement date to the date you paid in full, however if they complete the closure before your next statement is due, none will be appliedThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have
