Orange 'Free' Broadband

Regarding number of complaints that exec office say they are handling. I have been unable to get my complaint handled by them despite having an offcom reference. They just e-mail me and say that it has to go through customer services where it may be escalated to a manager. Customer services do not even acknowledge receipt of my e-mail.
Perhaps that is why they are saying they are only handling a small number of cases. But if they are only offering reduced line rental I am not interested. No way am I letting this company be responsible for my phone line.0 -
are people getting the 'end of free board band' in a letter from orange?
i havent had any information from orange, i would have thought this was a standard mail out to all free bb users?
if your reading orange, i will not continue bb with you and all mobiles will be switched !0 -

People have been getting letters, and or emails since late August, i understand they are doing it in batches - could still be ongoing.0 -

Try resending exec office an email with the subject line saying: Ofcom ref: whatever your ref is. worked for me. Or ring them quoting the ref. Perhaps they are just burying their heads again!
I would not believe a word they say over numbers. What they have said to people in this thread during the last 4 weeks shows they will say anything. Not to be trusted.0 -
I have now recieved a 3rd BB cut off date,
1st ...16th oct
2nd ...6th nov
3rd...27th nov
whats going on.??
EE probably have no idea - think of it as a bit more free broadband. Although i suspect they do this to make you go past competitors deals - ie plusnets half price BB for a year deal ends on 26/10
I also suspect Ofcom have made them extend the deadline for legal reasons.0 -
Orange's Facebook wall has some entertaining comments from numerous disgruntled customers! These are usually deleted within hours, but interestingly they see to be leaving them on there!
Yes have been 'entertaining myself for a while on there

Don't email them. Ring them first and follow up your phone call with an email marked FAO the person you spoke to.
Their number is 0800 0790 134. If they ask where you got the number from, tell them OFCOM gave it to you.0
