I've finished the job. I ran out of work to do at 10.30 and they couldn't find anything for me. She told me I was due holiday and suggested I left early and took the holiday. I told her no. In the end I spent the rest of the day counting paperclips until I'd completed my 16 hour week. So glad to be out of there.
Bathroom scrubbed.
Sausages and spuds for sausage salad cooked.
Kitchen S&S'd.
WiiFit attempted.
Got the doglets to brush now.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Yay school shoes and trainers bought - job done - very happy but rather poor - £204 in one day.
To the flying for an hour now.
ETA Mumto5 glad it is all over, sleep well tonightThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Well done, dusty. It adds up, though, doesn't it. DS2 needs school shoes, trainers, wellies and possibly slippers (when he's grown into the next size), as well as a waterproof and warm coat. He'll be walking to school with his dad most days as my starting time has changed and is too early for me to drop him off.
I used to buy cheap coats from places like Primark, but the padding goes flat quickly and I don't think they're warm enough in the long run. Any ideas?
Jo - I've had an induction hob for a few years and found that Ikea do the cheapest pots and pans I can use on it. I especially like their non-stick frying pans. Best thing to do is take a magnet when you shop. If it sticks to the pan, you can use it.
First HHC: washing in, DW emptied and loaded again, DW and WM on, rubbish/recycling out, freezer checked (I'm no paranoid), first half of tea taken out of fridge.
Off again to finish tidying the worktops, wipe the hob and prep tea.0 -
