    Morning lovelies!

It's been a while since I posted although I keep up with most of you on Facebook :)

I've lost a lot of jobs recently, 1 due to early retirement, 1 due to dying, one due to lack of funds to pay me and another I got rid of cos I kept getting parking tickets outisde their house  so not only have I lost nearly £100 a week I've now also got a lot of time on my hands, only work two full days now with the odd hour and 3 hr jobs the rest of the time. House is sparkling :D *rolls eyes*

Still trying to re-adjust finances and it's not good, but it'll sort itself out in the end I suppose, wedding plans for DD1 in full flow, I can't afford for her to get married truth be told :rotfl: hopefully I'll get some more cleaning jobs *fingers crossed*

Aaaaaanyway, got a little listy for today:-

    empty DW
    reload DW
    wipe benches
    put airer outside
    WM x 2
    ^^^hang on line
    sort tea
    poss hoover through
    change littleys bedding
    put cheque into bank
    pick up new curtains
hang new curtains (teenie was desperate)

Had a good tidy of the sheds and garden on Sunday, did 3 trips to the dump all by myself with 3 car fulls, did myself an injury though dragging the double mattress to the car so have been hobbling about since then :D feeling a lot better today though.

Will finish brew no. 2 then get ready to get to the bank early before the riff-raff get there hahahahaha

Ive decluttered 2 weans to school, eat breakfast took my meds and i'm just wasting some time till I need to leave to have my grey hair decluttered:whistle: (the hairdressers says its about 2 strands I don't believe her!)

Piggers Poor you. I wish I was closer and then I could take the wean and you could sleep. Don't allow her to nap today I know that means she will be a wee crab but she will sleep tonight hopefully.:grouphug:. Thats awful what your family has done. I know the feeling though I always get forgot about when it comes to family doos cause my mum isn't here and I'm an only child I just let it wash over me now.

    We all love you

    Morning everyone else :D
Have only managed to get 2 loads of washing out on the line so far, and written lists of the freezer contents on large post its so that everyone knows what there is. Breakfast is done, so I need to shower and crack on as we have a pub date with a friend at 1230 (but I am not drinking - having finally gotten rid of a headache I had since last Wed, obviously not helped by Saturdays session in the wine bar!)
Oh and pigpen you're not alone, I get sick of not being invited to my brothers family do's. It was horrible seeing all the pics of his 40th with all his wifes family but none of his. As for my nieces 18th I sent him a text asking if our invite was lost in the post!
Embb lovely to see you and hope the work picks up soon xx
Hope neaveh's little piggy is ok this morning

I leave work tomorrow, I think. I've checked online and they haven't fulfilled many employment rights so I might visit the CRB on Thursday and air my grievances. If they say I have a case I will take it up. I've been thoroughly used and it stinks.

I hope today goes ok and you get lots of support with your case against them - they deserve what's coming to them for the way they've treated you.

pigpen - what a horrible night you've had, and the upset with your family on top of it. Hope the day goes quickly and you get a good night's sleep.
jue - hope you've recovered a bit from yesterday and have a nice day to take your mind of it.
bossy - we'll be here to try and help you weather any storm.
    aj - (((hugs)))
neveah - sorry to hear about piggy after all your efforts. Be kind to yourself today.
embb - nice to see you back. Sending 'more work'-vibes.

I've decluttered an early doctor's appointment and have been told to take painkillers for my shoulder. If no improvement I'm to go back next week for an injection. Other than that I've done a couple of online things and hugged DS2. :D Out for a quick coffee with a friend in a bit and then I'll attack the list. Progress WILL be made today!!!

I've decided to leave Wednesday's list off - S&S won't be enough in bathroom and kitchen and DS2's room will need a full day, too. I'll concentrate on catching up with the rest today which will be enough to keep me out of trouble.

Special hugs to you, neveah: so sorry to hear about piggy.

Hugs also to juliejim, Mumto5, embb and bossymoo.

Sorry you've had such a frazzled night, pigpen - on the other hand, you seem to have got an awful lot done already, so try to sit down for a while and do your knitting or something: that seems to be your way of winding down.

dancemum, here's hoping your loft insulation people get the job done quickly and efficiently so that the boys don't get too distressed.

I have finished the S&S and hung out a load of washing, and there's very little to do in the house today, but I hope to get out in the garden later to finish clearing the patio and spot-weedkilling the dandelions that have sprouted all round our front border. In the meantime I must finish some computer work, but I couldn't settle to it. I tried various CDs of vastly different types (including classical selection, Waterson-Carthy folk songs and movie themes) before I finally found one that lifted my spirits and is of the right speed to work to - am currently playing a Polish Early Music ensemble's version of European 16th and 17th century courtly love songs on reproduction instruments, if anyone's really interested in knowing the details!!! I usually put Classic FM on in the car, but the adverts do my head in when I'm trying to concentrate on work.

Sending lots of :grouphug:and :heartsmil to anyone in need - sounds like lots of you are having a rough time at the moment :( Hope it's short-lived all round and things get better/easier soon.

And I forgot to thank juliejim for the lists yesterday - they're much appreciated, without them my house would still be in chaos this morning. Instead I came downstairs to relative calm which made a nice change from recent mornings!

Well I didn't get round to mopping the kitchen yesterday but I did put all the clean washing away so downstairs at least looks quite reasonable for today's play date. Just need to S&S the bathroom and do a quick tidy of kids' rooms before they arrive - no doubt the bedrooms will need a massive sort out afterwards! Not sure what time they're arriving so I'd better get my skates on...

    :hello:

    Hello Flyfolk!

Hope you are all well... can I come back and play please?

I think the last time I popped in, LO and I had just moved into a new place and I was getting all sorted for Uni... Well, instead of that, we moved again! The flat was a disaster.... no hot water, bugs running around in the house - you name it!

So we have moved again... No bugs and running hot water! LOVE IT!! :D

So here I am. Uni starts in two weeks, and I still havent received a timetable :/ Although I have received several packs detailing where to go drink... My friends and BF think its funny that I am surely the only student complaining about that!

So little one is at school today and I am on a day off. So far have bought some food and new pots as the ceramic induction hob did not like the pots I have! :( So off to wash the new ones and clear out the old ones... then get on with my list :)
