Hi,
Myself & my partner are hoping for a 2-week visit to turkey sometime in Sept and would love to hear your ideas to help us plan it all.
Currently we are thinking of easyjetting from London into one airport (Antalya/Dalaman or maybe even Bodrum), hiring a (small) car and meandering our way across beaches and sights (inlaid too) to the other airport over about 2 weeks (max). We thought we'd use airbnb-com for accommodation (we're' on a modest budget).
We love a bit of culture but not the party scene and really appreciate an ideas for must-do's and general tips on places to go, things to see, good beaches etc.. Also what are your experiences of car re and driving in turkey.
Can't wait to hear about your experiences!
Regards, Rai & Pen

I find the driving in Turkey atrocious!. They do not adhere to the rules of the road at all so you have always to expect the unexpected! Plenty of buses though go along that coast and not expensive.travelover0

You should go to Tripadvisor Turkey forum, there are a number of very knowledgable posters on there who can help with itinerary planning.0
