Listings ending over Easter weekend

Hi

:easter_ba

Does anyone know whether there is an increase or a decrease in sales over the Easter weekend? Or whether it doesn't make a difference?

I would be interested to know as I usually end my auctions on a Sunday evening and don't want to have any end on Easter Sunday if everyone is out doing family stuff rather then bidding on ebay!!) ;)

Hi Donna, its rather hard to decide which is the best thing to do.

If we are guaranteed nice weather, most likely people will be in the garden or away and wont even entertain ebay! Why dont you let it run a few days longer and let the items finish on Tuesday!

    Good Luck!

Oooh, good question, I would also be interested to know this as we will be away selling (hopefully) at Weston Park - midlands festival of transport, over easter, so I wasn't planning to have any BINs running, but if it's a good time I may reconsider, although with any luck we wont be coming back with much stock.;)

  • Good point. Will bear this in mind. Might be good for buying though.

Could be worth finishing on monday evening as it is a holiday? People might be buying - especially if weather is typical bank holiday weekend!
