Problems with Internet Browsers

Hello,

My usual web browser is Google Chrome. It was working fine last night (and has been for several years), but today it doesnt want to load any pages. I have tried to load about 10 sites and only 1 worked; the others I gave up on after leaving them for several minutes.

I have turned off both Zonealarm and Avast and the same problem persists.

Spotify is streaming fine.

I have tried to load firefox and IE which I usually can do, but they are not even opening.

I have resorted to safe mode with networking to post this message.

What could the problem be and how to resolve it? :T

Try this:

Start > type Run in the search box > click Run in the Programs section > type ipconfig /flushdns (note the space after ipconfig) > Click OK. A small window will open briefly then close.

Now try to load a site.
