Fix-It Man came to my rescue

Hi
Just wanted to share a great handyman service I discovered last week - I desperately needed a handyman to come round and do some bits and bobs around my flat and came across this website over Easter
https://www.fix-itman.co.uk
I send them an e-mail last saturday and the owner called me on Easter Monday to arrange an appointment - which I could have had the next day if I wanted to. I arranged the appt for 9am Thursday and one of the team turned up promptly at 9 and did a really good job. I needed some taps changed and I was really pleased with the professional service I got.
I was also very dubious because the last time I called a handyman out to do some basic decorating I really felt that I had been ripped off. What's great about fix-it man is that they have a fixed a fee per 30 mins - and from the moment he arrived till he left he worked flat out. It even went over an hour but he only charged me for an hour.

As a woman who knows nothing about DIY - I will def use this service again and recommend it to my friends.

    Hi Browntoa,

It should only be on referrals if you personally benefit from posting it here. I am assuming that you don't. There is no problem with recommending companies that you have no connection with and have had good service from on this board.

This is great. Have kept this address for the future. And a recommendation is worth tons! Sometimes, you just don't know where to look for the right tradesman.

Meant to say I was talking about Fix-it Man!! Based in North London. I'm Gants Hill so shouldn't be a problem.
