Peppa pig world

Options
Hello,

Were going to Peppa Pig World on Tues, early start as it's 4 hrs drive from us.

All day in the park, then hotel stay and then second day in the park ( buy one day get one free, when you stay over night) and then we also paid for a second night in the hotel and then on the third day - we thought about going into the New Forest, as it will be free.

I haven't been to Peppa pig world before, we are going to take a picnic so that the first day is cheap but the second day we will have to buy in the park.

Just wondered if anyone had any tips/ money saving ideas for our three days away?

There will be 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby.

Thanks in advance.
Smarties. x

Peppa Pig world is fantastic. I took my then 2 1/2 yr old last year and she loved it and keeps asking to go back :-) however I personally wouldn't do 2 days there, its not that big unless you go into the other main part, paultons where the 4 yr olds might be able to go on some rides (not sure as we never went in there) other people will be able to help you on that.
the food in the park was very expensive we found so a picnic will certainly help keep costs down. Someone might know if there is a supermarket nearby you could go to to get some food for the 2nd day?
my one tip is if its a warm day pack cossies as there is a little splash park in ppw.
    hope this helps x

There was stuff in the rest of the park for little ones. I went with a 4 yo (and baby) for one day and didn't manage to get everything done, so I think 2 days should be fine.

At the risk of stating the obvious, just take with you what you can - eg drinks in a small keepcool, or freeze a bottle of water and drink as it defrosts, plus snacks etc.

There is a peppa pig shop with more peppa pig stuff than you could imagine, but its pricey. It's all available from regular shops (eg amazon) cheaper - buy a few toys in advance and don't allow children in the shop!
  • are there actual rides for little ones there, or is it just looking at Peppa Pig themed stuff?

I want to take my little one, but want to make sure it's worth the 4 hour round trip!

Yes, the peppa pig land part is designed for little ones. The rides are designed so that adults can sit comfortables with their kids and they don't move so fast.

Do a search on YouTube, there are some videos posted showing the rides etc.

Food at Paultons is very expensive!

There's a family pub called "The Vine Inn" about 2 mins up the road that does 2 meals for a tenner! (Service is slow though.) They have a Wacky Warehouse for the kids and a play park in the beer garden.

If you get bored of Paultons there's Longdown Activity Farm and New Forest Wildlife Park* not far away.

(*30% discount on entry with an Ikea family card)
  • It was great, still didn't do everything in 2 days there!! I even saw Katie Price :) walked right next to her. There was a baby, a 4 yr old and 8 yr old and stuff for all ages.
