credit card charges

hi im new to this and wondered if i could get some advice. 3 years ago my partner was made redundant from his job and our credit card was maxed, during this time we could only afford to pay just under the minimum payment for which we were charged £25 per month then when he got a new job his pay was always paid on the last working day of the month and the credit card was due on the 28th as we were unable to make a double payment to the credit card as we just couldnt afford it we were charged a £25 over limit fee and a £25 late payment fee EVERY MONTH!!!! We spoke to the Bank of Scotland (card provider) about this and they replied there was nothing they could do!! not even reset the payment date!!! Can we claim back these charges as it went on for almost 2 years
