cast iron griddle plate

I have just bought myself a cast iron griddle plate which is ridged on one side and flat on the other. I have fancied one for ages but couldn't really justify the price. However I saw them reduced in Aldi to £10 so made on. (I love Aldi! )

I have made some dropped scones/scotch pancakes several times successfully (including gluten free ones for a friend ) and now I am wondering what else to make. I intend to have a go at some potato scones, but what else? Any suggestions??

Forgot to mention that I am thinking not so much about meat and fish recipes, more something akin to finger food, especially if I can give it away to my friends and family. I enjoy cooking but as I live alone don't usually go to a lot of trouble. But I do enjoy cooking/baking from time to time.
