Howdens prices?

Following some recommendations on here, I think I am going to get some solid oak kitchen worktops from Howdens.

My joiner has an account with them, but Howdens won't tell me the price as they only supply direct to the trade.

Can anyone tell me the price for a 3 metre run of worktop?

It will depend on the discount level your joiner gets or can negotiate.

Why do you want to know? Do you not trust your joiner? Good working relationship thats going to be if that's the case.

    Cheers

Thanks all. I am not seeing the joiner again until later in the week so was just wondering how they compare to other suppliers.

At £550 for a 3m run, it is considerably more expensive than others so may look elsewhere as well as Howdens.

    Huh?

    Cheers

Edit: Oh I get it. Your post appeared to me to be that you were checking up on your joiners information because you didn't believe the numbers he was giving you. Please don't blame me if you left your post open to interpretation and that as a result you didn't like my interpretation. Thats hardly my fault.

  • have a look at b&q, very reasonable £, MOH joiner now retired always found some of howdens products reasonable but not all just because they supplied the trade does not mean cheaper.
