Saving for Dad's 60th in 2 years

I was looking for some advice as the best savings option to take. My brother and I have decided that as our dad has been really generous to us over the years we wanted to give him something really special for his 60th birthday in exactly 2 years time. We don't have that much money ourselves but can stretch to both saving £20 a month each. As we don't need access to the money for 2 years, I guess we have more options available to us and would like to take advantage of higher rates than just a bog standard savings account. Although in saying that we will only be opening the account starting with £40. Also, my brother lives in Luxemburg so makes things a bit complicated. Is there an account we could both access?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

no advice to offer re- best account, but look in both countries- you could send the other an online transfer once a month which would sort out both of you having access, as long as you trust one person to have access.
Having an account when one of you is out of the country is awkward, likely to be easier for only one of you to open it.
