Settlement offer not yet recieved

I was claiming £973 from HSBC but I've been given two settlement offers. One for £766 which I replied to and then another offer of £825 a week or so later. I signed the acceptance form for both and returened them recorded delivery, they have both been recieved. The second offer was recieved on the 16 Mar but I still haven't recieved the confirmation or the money. Any ideas on how long it takes or is it a delay tattic?

When we got our offer they said it would be paid within 10 days, which is tomorrow!!

Yes - we sent it back straight away - we claimed 3,250 and accepted £2500 - we could have fought on but it made more sense to us to ahve it asap.

By any chance did they ask you for a break down of charges befor they made their offer? I have sent 2 letters and now they want a break down it's been over forty days and I'm getting miffed0
