Settlement offer not yet recieved

I was claiming £973 from HSBC but I've been given two settlement offers. One for £766 which I replied to and then another offer of £825 a week or so later. I signed the acceptance form for both and returened them recorded delivery, they have both been recieved. The second offer was recieved on the 16 Mar but I still haven't recieved the confirmation or the money. Any ideas on how long it takes or is it a delay tattic?

When we got our offer they said it would be paid within 10 days, which is tomorrow!!

Yes - we sent it back straight away - we claimed 3,250 and accepted £2500 - we could have fought on but it made more sense to us to ahve it asap.

How long did it take for the acceptance to come through from receipt?

By any chance did they ask you for a break down of charges befor they made their offer? I have sent 2 letters and now they want a break down it's been over forty days and I'm getting miffed
