Increase my credit rating!

Im just about to go into my gap year in which ill be working for most of it and travelling for 3 months in between, it may be quite premature but i wanted to start to increase my credit rating. I have no standing orders, debts or direct debits as current, i do have a mobile phone my mum pays for it. I was thinking of getting a store card and paying it back in full every month, is there any other ideas???:starmod:

Yep Unfortuantly to have a good credit rating you have to have a good history of managing credit facilities like credit cards/store cards loans etc.

I would start by applying for a cap1 classic or vanquis which are good for a starter card as long as theyre paid in full each month as the ApR is horrendous.
