AutoAid Breakdown Recovery

I have breakdown cover from AutoAid and I keep their document in my car as advised. One thing I'm unsure about is who to call in the event of a breakdown. I'm aware that I can recover my costs from AutoAid but can someone recommend a company I should call to do the actual recovery.

I have called them 3 times in the 7 or so years I have had a policy. Just had the number in my phone and the document safely at home, you don't need it.0

You can use anyone you like. ie you don't have to use their helpdesk if you have a garage you want to use.0
