How do I suggest this to the site (MSE)?

Wondered if the following job title maybe added? As I expect there are many of them in the country-probably every school/ most classes have at least one:-

I was surprised to find when I wanted to compare insurance deal by job e.g. I work as a Specialist Support Assistant at school (like a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching/ Classroom Assistant but for a Deaf Student (s) it didnt have any of those titles-maybe I should have looked under something to do with BSL (sign language) but not sure what?!

How do I suggest it?

(hope I'm understood?!!) :o

you can suggest it if you like but this site (MSE) does not compare insurance deals.
  • Sorry, got the wording wrong (I often do!) It was the part on the site where they give advice on using car insurance comparison sites!

You must be talking about the 'job tweaker'
That is not an extensive list and only offers general groupings that might help reduce insurance premiums.

I know the section you mean, it's where you can compare different job titles to see how it affects the average premium.

I would doubt that MSE came up with that list of job titles, it's more likely that they got it from industry. When you've been to insurance quote sites yourself, have you ever seen 'Specialist Support Assistant' on the selection of job titles? (I honestly don't know if it's there)

I always struggle with DH's job title for insurance purposes. They never have one to match, as the nearest one is actually his immediate superiors job title.

Ha! Ha! I'd like to my superior's job title 'teacher'! But wouldn't like to do their job-esp. not in High School:eek:-nursery children easier to cope with and better behaved! Except the children in my sibblings' family-ALL well behaved! (well mostly!)

Like your quote with your name too (in blue)!

In the past I used teaching or classroom assistant I think, but that option wasn't there- there was Assistant Teacher but I wasnt sure if that was it?
