saw a lady with 4 two packs of plenty in her trolley , told her there were coupons in the asda mags, she came behind us at the checkout and hadn't found any mags so gave her some of mine :A:A

also found a car with 2 abandoned kids in the car park (10yr old and baby) the baby was crying and the 10yr old was hitting the baby:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: asked if she was ok and she burst into tears, said mum had left her with the baby who was asleep but had woke up, called security pronto to call the mum and stayed with them until mum arrived with her shopping and who then didn't say thanks or look sorry for her actions at all :mad::mad::mad:
    poor kids:(:(:(:(:(

It makes me mad to hear stories like this, when you think of all the childless couples in the world who would love to have kids, then you get ******************************************** like her who leave a child in charge of a child, and god forbid if someone had kidknapped them "so madam, where were you when this happened?"..."Oh I was in Asda buying tea bags" stupid *****!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Or they could actually mean what they say?! I have found loads of staff at T and A that share this view, who basically see it as a job and be pleased to be tipped off about a glitch or bargain. Not all of them are trouts, and not all of the managers are bean counters (or 5 bean counters, lol)

i had one who was was really friendly and applauding me on my glitches and bargains and asking me for info, within minutes of her her being my best friend she trouted me on all my coupons lol, she wanted to be sure so she didn't get into trouble......basically because she knows i like to pushed the boundary's she double and triple checked everything:(

i'm not saying don't trust but i would just be careful what you tell to whom that's all :(

just got humiliated at work when one of the staff says she didn't get the red stuff because it's rank, will be keeping the finds to myself from now:o

  • hi everyone

i keeping under £10.00, trying to keep off the radar

    returned £8.65 from today 14:55

13 items (10 different) on your bill qualify for comparison Tesco
    +£8.41

    0.15 x ASDA Bananas by Weight (100g) £0.10 £0.10
    0.09 x ASDA Carrots by Weight (100g) £0.07 £0.07
    0.16 x ASDA Onions by Weight (100g) £0.14 £0.16
    1 x ASDA Lemons Loose £0.30 £0.30
    1 x ASDA Orange Loose £0.30 £0.30
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Chopped Tomatoes (400g) £0.31 £0.31
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Sweetcorn (326g) £0.33 £0.33
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Mushy Peas (300g) £0.04 £0.04
    3 x Heinz Tomato Ketchup Squeezy (1.5Kg) £9.00 £0.57
    2 x Barratt Flumps Mallow Twists £0.20 £0.20

    Comparison total £10.79 £2.38

This demonstrates exactly what I mean. Way over the radar surely? The till op looks at it and see's you have spent £10.79 and got an APG for over £9 back, but this is considered by everyone here to be OK?! A banana? A carrot? An onion?

The quote here earlier that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, rings so very true. Shops like this are no better no worse than James's in terms of amount spent and return, and I am quite angry about the way some of those here have treated him to be honest.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

I think a massive £20+ just stands out more subconsciously to staff than a less than £10 one despite what items are bought. It's from experience everyone is talking like that rather than out of spite, as mentioned before.

I've used the November one today. No problems. I will only use one voucher though every now and then as it could run for a while yet and I don't want to bite the hand that feeds me:)

Thanks for the update, and to the others who have reported back. I have not had chance to go in T's today, so it's good to know it's still working. Like you, I get one every shop now (did go a bit mad at first) but then thought better of it :)

I think James will have to watch how they go in that branch and also what details they put on here. I know from experience that some things I have put up have been mentioned to me by people I know who work in Toscos but only because I've mentioned the store and or a very distinguishable member of staff in that store.
I have been followed in a certain store, much to my amusement may I add, I haven't ever done what others have, I make a point if I got a DTD in a store I try not to get another there for at least a month. I have limited myself to MOCs and PPs lately for the very reason of not being recognised, most of my PPs are under £5 with very few being over this.

When I used my APG today it was from a big shop and on a big shop so didn't stand out as it was £15ish and produced a £14ish one, thankfully I live in NI so will use this one in Toscos and see if I can get a conditional spend voucher from sainsbobs as they've been giving out 'when you spend £20' ones lately so buy normal shop there.

Have you used an APG in T's yet?
