    oooooh, I just had an email telling me I have won a bean :j

    Speaking of beans, has anyone used the 5 beans coupon today (with the November date)? It's just that the other one finished yesterday, so it crossed my mind the other one might have been blocked. Thanks IA

    Could you confirm which body sprays you mean please? I must have missed this somewhere.

    Sorry missed this post - it is the Yardley body sprays (I got lots of different flavours, can't remember them all off the top of my head, if you click on my name and look at my other posts I listed all the varieties I had tried last night) also the Panache, Lace, L'Aimant and Tweed they only work instore not online and you get 500 points on your card - hth :beer:
  • The big problem with the PP and APG schemes is that it is literally the act of printing money which makes people want to push things further. When you womble a voucher for a few pennies you get a mini high but what kind of feeling do you get when the printer spits out a £10+ or £20+ or worse still £30+ APG? It may seem like free money and to save the hassle of lots of printing an multiple shops it's easier to put loads through in one receipt but as many have said on here ...... we play the long game.

    Yes I got a fair few bottles of wine but I split them across multiple shops to keep them in or around £10 (a couple went slightly over by accident). I may not be on the breadline but for each glitch I get, a family that is on the breadline will benefit. The greedy barstewards like mysmith who are openly telling people to abuse the system are going to ruin it not just for those who are bargain hunting for fun, but for those directly and indirectly who NEED these glitches to survive.

    So mysmith if you are reading this, please think again about the consequences of your actions. Trying to get one over on the posters here or (as phrased on HUKD) to get some cheap/free heat by nicking other peoples deals will have wide ranging effects. Please please please think again before posting these deals and promoting the abuse of price comaprison schemes.

    On an aside, many thanks to the lovely people who have sent PMs to me but with kind comments and info on the Huggies deal. As long as this site saves me & my family money and I have some spare, I will continue to help out those less fortunate as long as these glitches last. I just hope this isn't the death knell for the APG scheme as we know it :(

    Thats a good point, I'm out to check later in mozzies. But if it doesnt scan, and has to be manually input, wouldnt that override the block anyway?

    Speaking of helping each other out with other things:

    I have a VHS video player in good working order, and a huge pile of childrens videos that are no longer wanted here. Free to a good home, perfectly happy to pack up and post for postage cost (courier should bring it in around £7 I think). Would it be any use to anyone here before I give it away on FB?
    No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
    Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

    Forgot to say, I went to MrS on Tuesday bought a little bottle of juice and got a till spit for £4 off £20 spend, went back in and got the £20 Fairy non bio used £4 ts and got a BM for £10 :T

    I was going to do that with my last til spit and BM but bought vodka instead :p But £20 for Fairy powder, S prices are worse than T most of the time. Actually, from shopping around in A, T and S, A are definitely cheaper overall.

    My A had sold out of 5 beans this morning so I didn't get any. I doubt the November coupon has been blocked though.

    I've just had a yummy lunch - ham sandwich with coleslaw and dairylea cheese (from bzz campaign), topped with rocket, tomato and cucumber.. yum yum yum

    I suppose it depends on whether or not they have been told not to accept it - like the Wright's flour/cake mix coupon

    Not sure what to do now, I'm probably not going to use the voucher now, quite scared actually from what people have posted!

    I'm stuck with all this Tommy K now!

    Due to have a shop at the weekend, the husband is going to kill me when he realises how much i've actually spent today if I don't get the voucher coming through!!! :(

    Some things you could do include:

    - use it, but please be careful; going to a different store than your usual Asda might be a prudent idea;

    - return some or all of the items for a refund instead of redeeming the APG;

    Whilst you might be in a tricky situation, so long as you keep to the terms then I don't think you need to lose sleep over a single shop. Anyway, I'm sure there will be people rinsing the APG scheme just as heavily (or worse) without posting about it here, unfortunately!
