Hi such a kind & thoughtful thing you have done. I too was inspired by FK's post & looked into the food bank but York doesn't seem to be on the list so I will look into another way of donating. I am sure the likes of A's & T's won't mind seeing as it is for a charitable cause ;)

I've been doing this for about 12 months now :D

York have a food bank, the gateway centre, front street, YO24 3BZ

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    Hello everyone, :T:T:T

I am back from HongKong. I hope all are well. :D

I see that the forum have become mighty judgemental once more so all I will say is:

    Mincemeat compares:o
    Tomato Ketchup compares:o
    Wine compares:o
    Mushy Peas Compare
    Kidney beans compare

All ASDA. I shall save myself from the fire by not copying the receipt.

If I get time tonight after going to ASDA in 5 mins I will try and do an EPIC catch up thread. The OH managed to get some butter and cinema stuff, oh, and I have lots of Adult Beans for some reason! whilst I was away so I didn't miss all. I did however loose a £9 brand match and £8 price pookie due to the dates (boo hoo :( ).

I hope all are well and that people are happy with the forum/thread as best they can be. It would be a shame to lose that friendly banter.

Welcome back :) hope you had a lovely time :)

well before I have to shout 3dogs to come and proof read my posts I shall move on to the horse riding lesson! :p

Despite having a near panic attack at the start and feeling so sick, I soon relaxed a bit and began to enjoy it! :D
It was hard going though, apparently I was riding the laziest horse so my legs now ache soooooo much! It's amazing how quickly all the things come back to you though even though it's been 13 years!

When I got off my legs felt like jelly and I really didn't think I'd be able to walk! I got in my car and felt like I was some boy racer in some lowered sports car - it felt so weird not being up high, very strange :rotfl:

And now... I ache like hell, my legs keep shaking and my bottom, well, I can't sit down properly, I wish I had those buns of steel that's for sure!
But.. lesson already booked for next week :D Feels good to do something for me especially something I once loved so much and was a huge part of my life!

:rotfl: sounds like you had a great time :) keep it up magicowen after a couple of lessons you will be pain free :)

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.
