Some horrors are disgusting(sorry should be discussing) my sister on facebook about when she was at school. Im trying politely to get them to delete it all. Seriously cheesed reading it, they are apologising saying its a jest but my sis is pretty sensitive and if she sees it she will get upset. Sometimes I really hate facebook. FAKEBOOK more like0

Made from natural ingredients – tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, salt and spices – what can possibly be wrong with tomato sauce? Well, let’s talk salt. The Food Standards Authority defines a high-salt food as one with 1.25g salt (0.5g sodium) per 100g and a low-salt snack as one with 0.25g salt (0.1g sodium) per 100g. A typical bottle of Heinz Tomato Ketchup contains 3.1g of salt (1.2g of sodium) per 100g.
High consumption is linked to raised blood pressure, strokes and heart attacks. Average daily salt consumption is 8.6g against a recommended maximum of 6g.
Last year the UK’s Food Standards Agency published salt-reduction targets for 2012, which focused on bread, meat products, breakfast cereals and convenience foods.
For tomato sauce the agency noted that the average salt content across all brands was around 2.4g salt (1g sodium) per 100g. Revised 2012 targets aim to take this down to 1.83g salt (730mg sodium) per 100g. Heinz and all the other manufacturers of tomato sauce clearly have a long way to go.
While we're looking at the fine print, the FSA also defines high-sugar content as being 10g per 100g. Heinz Tomato Ketchup contains 23.7g sugar per 100g :eek::eek::eek:

I'm not a religous person so I was a bit wary of going to a church but the folk there couldn't have been nicer. They wanted to know how I heard about them and was I sure I could spare so much stuff. I briefly explained 'glitching' and told them if all went well, I'd be back next week with more stuff plus some ketchup!
It may not sound like much but given how small our wee country is, I was surprised to hear that tonight alone, the foodbank had helped 5 families. I had a quick look around what they have and apparently UHT milk is something they always run out of so I've made a mental note. Now I hope this doesn't get them into trouble but the organisation that runs the foodbank is quite strict. I asked do they take stuff other than what they have listed on their website and was told they keep a wee stash of extras. As the girl said, if people can't afford food, how can they afford 'luxuries' such as shower gel, lady products etc.
I am giving serious consideration to volunteering with them but in the mean time, each and every glitch could mean the world to a stranger so bring it on. :j
Oh and would some kind person be able to PM me the process for using the Huggies coupons please (in detail sorry - baby steps and all that)? I know someone posted before but I can't remember the details. I want to donate some nappies & wipes etc as I know how expensive they are as a parent.
Away to find the OPs for the ketchup. My shop from 9pm tonight worked :j0 -
