  • Has anyone got any advice on best broadband providers. We are with Virgin and can't have cable at new house. We are looking at whether to have BT, Virgin or Sky, they are all roughly the same speed at 3 mb :(. We do want digital TV and need to keep our same BT phone number so may be able to look at the best package overall. Cant have Virgin TV though so it will have to be Sky TV, HD, with sports. Anyone got any experience good or bad as to best one to go with. TIA

Hi, I did the maths on this in June, wanted to keep with BT but Plus net were coming out cheaper (we have Sky TV separately). Also since we got a smart TV the streaming was taking us over 10gb bandwidth so went up to 40gb, at no extra cost.

BT price matched the Plus net prices, do give them a call, if you pay 12 months line rental in advance it gets even cheaper. Do make a note in your diary when then contract is over so you can do the same again, as they won't remind you and you will roll into another contract. HTH.

    72 wash £10.00 @ Tesco valid until 08/09
  that's the same price for 38 wash atm.

Edit to add: brand match against Sainsburys as it is £20 there!

Thank you so much for this i was pulling my hair out as to what i could get at sainsbobs as i have a £10 bm that runs out today, and also a £3 off £20 spend will also look at ssm to see if any vouchers around before i go :j:j:j

Good idea :) I like a couple of glugs in my winter beef stews :p

And dont forget you can always freeze some in ice cube trays - ideal towards the end of a bottle that's going to be hanging about. It's really handy to drop cubes into spag bol, casseroles and stews.

I wombled a receipt from A's that had the 1kg stain remover on it and didn't count as a comparable item.

I dont know if it that is still the case. If anyone is doing an APG shop for these you had best check they are showing on A.com and MSM.com

IIRC there are two 1kg variations, the olympic one doesn't compare.

    Morning all!

    Happy Birthday Celebrate!

Busy day for me yesterday as I had to go down to Yeovil on business (took the opportunity of wombling in a new Asda but although I wombled seven receipts, they only produced £1.02!) then home to pack and do postage on all the ebay stuff I sold the day before - 31 parcels!

Off to the Post office shortly with that lot and then back to my normal asda for a quick womble and to get Ds some socks. Glamorous life!
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(
