But if its some gorgeous duvet made out of goosedown feathers or whatnot and cost £100 then £8 is a good deal - its something you could never think of just dumping and replacing :T

It is a goose down duvet so well worth having it cleaned. After cleaning it is like new, so 'springy' and 'fluffy'...can't wait to get into bed then..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
The same place also clean two throws for me..they are double size and very thick fleece, cream one side and cream floral other side. They are so thick and cosy that I have one folded on back of sofa, perfect for snuggling under on a cold night. My sister in law bought them as a gift for me when she was visiting her relatives in Japan. :):)

we have 2 cats too they are a delight so much easier than dogs and children. your right tho it seems to take a long time to get the family independant, I envy people who don't worry about every mortal thing, but then i think, its thru anxiety and fears for your children that you protect them.
this morning I have the fire on, a little baby, nice tidy house, plenty tea and custard creams, anyone want to join me, its bliss...............

    Bliss!

    morning all

miserable outside and cold....................not sure whether to put my heating on:eek:

i see misery guts was on form last night

So let me get this right, you kicked it off in store AND had a supervisor called even though you knew the coupon was for way more than the product was going to cost????? Lets not even mention the OOD one.

Some of you guys really leave me shaking my head as you clearly make some pretty daft decisions!

Er who are you calling daft??:p:p:p:p OK I won't question that one however may I point out that I didn't kick off, i merely asked for clarification of the policy so i knew for next time. It was 3.45pm after being at the hospital all day and night my coupons expired in 15mins, it took them 1/2 hr to call down the lazy a$$ supervisor, she refused to let me use them at all on the mens deo, i wouldn't have minded if she had let me have them for free rather than money off the rest of the shop but she wouldn't accept them at all.

Furthermore i was left with 5mins before closing to go to an alternative supermarket to use them.

I didn't intentionally present an OOD one to superdrug it was a day OOD and she pointed that out at which I apologised and took it back. Yes I did use it in savers but Supermarkets have several weeks to send these back to the manufacturer despite the exp date to the customer, they will still get their money.

FK -a judgemental condascending attitude is not at all helpful on this thread, I find it threatening and upsetting. A bit of polite advice goes a long way and I think we pride ourselves on this thread on the the friendly welcoming ethos.

Certainly you yourself are not whiter than white or an angel , again we get on the discussion again about bending T&C's, you hammered the bravaria, you are hammering the wine APG, your boasting of several DTD's on BT strauss phones within a few days then returning them with a golden....I could go on. We each do what we feel comfortable with. If we start slating people for having the guts to tell of an experience then I am afraid this thread is not the place for me anymore. Anyone who asks a simple question for advice gets hammered, the 2 people who asked a simple question got slaughtered yesterday regarding APG reuse. I am not saying what they said was right , however I am saying the manner in which advice is given is a holier than thou approach in a manner which could potentially push people back into lurkdom.

Sorry to bring the thread down
    Happy bank holiday to all:A
Perhaps this would be a good time for me to have another break from this madhouse:(

Not sure about cats being easier than kids, our gang act like a gaggle of unruly feral toddlers.
