not very mse:rotfl::rotfl:
But if its some gorgeous duvet made out of goosedown feathers or whatnot and cost £100 then £8 is a good deal - its something you could never think of just dumping and replacing :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning all.
lesleysanderson - hope things turn out well and pups and mum are OK.
Just done the quiz for the last time in about 16 days or so - this time tomorrow we "should" be in the air. It is, however, a charter flight so your guess is as good as mine!
Just started raining here, had planned on mowing the lawns before we went but that will not happen now!!
Happy - have you put in your API yet?
Must go and face the heap of things I have to do in the next 12 hours!!!!:eek: Who's idea was it to book a holiday on Wednesday and go the following Tuesday anyway - oh, I know, my OH, who only has to pack to be ready :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
its such a relief when your kids are well sorted isnt it, espeically when it has seemed like a never ending job.
I get up in the morning and i do a check list, thinking where all of mine are going to be today and what they might be doing - OK I dont know the exact details but the main thing is that they are all doing their own stuff, all working and payng their bills, no humungous problems and all happy with thier lives and thier lots. It has taken us so long to get to this point ....
And it must be so lovely to have a part-time baby to look after.
I have to make do with an ever increasing herd of cats :rotfl:blondynurse wrote: »morning guys and gals, i am with baby since last night, a friends wee baby that i look after, well she is a wee single mum who is the same age as my daughter, i'm a wee softy so look after everyone as usual. I have got baby stuff at my house so stuff doesn't have to be transported too much. She has been up at 07:30 had bottle and solids bath playtime giggle time snuggles and kisses and is now very happy and cosy sleeping in the moses basket. i will put a piccy of her on skipping thread for all those who love babies.
When I was putting her to bed last night with my daughter, we were sitting looking at her for ages, I said to my daughter "i love her"
my daughter said "i love her too" Can't believe how much it has changed our lifes having this wee baby around. The only thing is I absolutely pine when she goes away with her mum. I know that is so selfish, I think I have got too close really.
She is looked after so well here and is happy thats all i can say without saying too much.
My DS has started college today, he left on train early this morning. made him a packed lunch to take, standing there making it with tears in my eyes thinking back to all the wee packed lunches i have made him through the years. he moves out on september the 8th his 20th birthday. don't get me started on that emotional rollercoaster.
my wee daughter is 18 one week today, the bairn, she starts job number 2 next week, so she will have 2 jobs that are part time. She actually got offered another job last week and had to turn it down it was full time. however she has got her head around the two she is doing one is in a shop the other in a old peoples home. I think its good for her to try those two to see what she likes best. There were no jobs advertised localy but she wrote to every single employer in our whole area and has ended up with 3 job offers.
anyway not too much shopping been done here lately, i'm too busy doing the mother role lol!
sorry for just chatting, i know not many people will be too bothered if its not a glitch i'm posting, but its nice to have a wee blether when there is not much else happening xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
hugs to all that need them, off to put the kettle on ........have a great day xxxxxx“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. There's no way ours will fit in our washer. Are they much to do in a launderette? Has anyone cleaned theirs recently so know what the going rate is? We normally buy new and recycle but there have been no good deals that I've been able to get.
Cheers.
Had Dd superking duvet cleaned last week, it cost £8 in the local laundrette
