Poor HC. You seem to have spent the whole day trying to get this sorted:o

Not the whole day, I had intended to come back from T's to do it but the weather was so nice I sat in the bus shelter outside T's and watched the world go by for about 90 minutes. Then I got on a bus to go and see my friend only to be confronted with his computer problems.:(

Even I didn't know how to fix that one.

Just got my second APG back and thought people would like to know some items which appear not to compare....

    1 x ASDA Smartprice Crisps - Ready Salted (12x18g)£0.66N/A
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Passata (500g)£0.29N/A
1 x ASDA Smartprice Strawberry Flavour Dessert Whip £0.12N/A
1 x ASDA Smartprice Meatballs in Gravy (380g)£0.43N/A

Lucky I bought 14 unique items eh?!

I think only one item has to compare.....

I often buy the strawberry whip during an apg shop and it's always compared before!
I see Asda have been taking classes from tesco.:mad:

It doesn't really matter if it compares or not does it? Infact its better if it doesn't as then if T's drop theirs to 5p again you don't lose out :D

Thanks to Kadison for the tip-off of the ladies Ultras in Boots, got 8 packs at 18p. The SEL said 18p in my store, and they were in the normal place, not in a clearance section. There were some other reductions as well, including the 'tubs' of lil-lets for 45p (marked with clearance stickers on the tubs)

I also got 3 of the half price No 7 face powders, and the 3 for 2 kicked in as well ....making it 3 for £12!

Plus I did the fragrance for point and bought a cologne water £4.39, a rose water £4.39, a 50ml So Brit £3.93 (sel £5.24) and a 100ml So Me £3.75 (sel £4.99) and I got 2000 extra points.

Are you saying that the 500 points for 50ml perfumes is still working? Perishing Boots tart insisted yesterday that, as they currently have a 10 points/£ offer going on, I couldn't have any extra on the perfume!

Could someone please let me know what the wine glitch is all about?

A quick google suggests that asda have the Vina Albali on at 3 for £10, but that the APG is comparing full price against another supermarkets 3 for £12.

My fuzzled brain can't work out what the end cost of the wine is?

Having bought two lots of six today, which gives a better discount thanks to the 10% added on, each bottle of rose or red is approximately 70-80p :D:D:D

No problem, like to pass on my finds as others on here do :D

I bought the rose water too, doesn't it smell lovely? Like proper (as in not chocolate coated) turkish delight....

I hope you have internet on your hols, to keep us going.

Free WiFi in the hotel at the start and end of the trip. I can't see that there will much in the way of internet outside the major cities. I had to call O2 the other week and I asked about data services there and they said Madagascan networks only supported the very old and very basic GPRS data services (the slowest of the slow). Westie sent me a link this morning to a mobile network offering iPads and iPhones, so who knows....

That's true of course, but it's the thin end of the wedge. Tesco sell these items and they are on MSM and T.com so should not come up as N/A. It could just as easily have been the main apg item that came up N/A and not just the extras.
