Enjoy your time off too
Collected up my neighbour's gift of 5 slugs off my decking, popped them in a brown envelope (with a large piece of lettuce so as they don't starve whilst he is out at work) and have written him a nice little note on the front, and just going to pop it through his letter box on my way out
"Please find enclosed unwanted gift. I don't need any more slugs thanks, I have enough of my own.
This is now the third time I have seen you donate them over to me, but perhaps in the future you would be kind enough to re-home them elsewhere. Thanks"
Thing is, the sticky has worn off the envelope and I can't seal it upOh well, let's hope he is not late home from work

Can you use nectar cards in A's?
Please don't tell me I have been missing out on points.
No No!
I used my nectar card in sainsbobs not asda, just typed the wrong store name in, as Ive been to both today.
My question was, could I give it to someone else in the shop to help them, or does it have to be redeemed by me and my nectar card!
I will not spend £60 in one go, and Im sat here with a piece of paper worth £12 and hate to see it wasted.
Ive done it before in tesco with £5 off a £40 spend etc, and just gave them to familes with full trollies, as they can be used without using your clubcard, but Im unsure if its the same in sainsbobs as they only spit if you use your nectar card.
...or am I completely misunderstanding you?0 -

Did someone mention you could use a nectar card in Asda?:o:oI mean sainsbobs (been to both this afternoon, my brain said sainsbobs, but my finger said asda):o:o:o:o
she meant sainsbob's nikki

in answer to lindos's initial question which no-one has answered in all the excitement of potential nectar points at Asda :wall:
i would personally use the till spit lindos , there may be some peeps with some good brandmatch items. Also occasionally I have been known to purchase an electrical item and found it was unsuitable
edit beaten to it, i have used the till spits without a nectar card and wombled till spits and used my own nectar card so i don't think you need to worry if you are donating it lindos

Was in morrisons & noticed a few half price things i wanted. With the sweet sunday chocs offer i finally had enough items for apg to get the extra asda 10%
APG vs Morrisons
1 x M&M's Chocolate (185g) £2.09£1.04
1 x M&M's Peanut (185g) £2.09 £1.04
7 x Galaxy Bites (140g) £14.63 £7.28
4 x Milky Way Magic Stars (130g) £8.36 £4.16
1 x Robinsons Double Concentrate Apple & Blackcurrant £3.65 £1.82
1 x Simple Pure Soap for Sensitive Skin (4x125g) £2.20 £1.24
2 x Nestle Cheerios (375g) £4.56 £2.28
3 x Aptamil First Infant Milk Ready Made from Birth On... £2.07 £2.07
Comparison total £39.65 £20.93
(Get £20.82 voucher back)
all below should work against morrisons (bought 'few' bags of each this week - except minstrels)
- Minstrels
- Revels
- Maltesers
- Galaxy Counters
- M&M Nuts
- M&M chocs
- Magic Stars
- Galaxy Bites
APG is excellent way to get baby formula milk at a 10% discount. But remember to get the 7 other items. I've never seen the from birth first milk reduced ever.
Thank you to aau98113 as i didnt even clock onto what he / she said until now. On my reciept its taken off 2F£3 on the chocs x 3 but its not got it on the apg...think i'll have to go back for more. Sorry i cant tell which one it is as i had done the shops before i read below. This is actually a cracking one for all your APG shops
I just wombled a receipt that has Galaxy Counters £2.09 each and going through on a multibuy of 2 for £3. These 2 packs have compared at full price of £4.18 in As vs £2 in T, £4.18 in S, £2.08 in M, £3 in W
I had a look and they are NOT on A's website at 2 for £3 and so they are not on MSM at 2 for £3. Both sites simply show £2.09 per pack
So bearing in mind you only pay £3 here is the net effect
you get back £2.38 against T (effective spend 62p for 2 packs)
you get back £0.42 against S (effective spend £2.58 for 2 packs)
you get back £2.31 against M (effective spend 69p for 2 packs)
you get back £1.48 against W (effective spend £1.52 for 2 packs)
Obviously M and T are the most favourable here but M is a difficult one to plan a shop against so I would suggest adding this to shops targeted against T only
Remember you need to buy another 7 different items covered by the APG scheme. If you have the voucher then can I suggest Heinz Five Beans as one of them as you'll get back 9p per tin against T. Don't foget to buy your Galaxy Counters in quantities of 2 or multibuy glitch won't kick in
Good luck everyone!
ETA: It MIGHT also work on Peanut M&Ms. They are also just £2.09 on the A and MSM websites with no multibuy mentioned. If you see these marked instore at 2 for £3 then feel free to chuck 2 in your shopping and let us know how you get on with the APG as they are £1 a pack in Ts as well.
Above was first page of this thread i read....only have time to skim 1 or 2 pages per thread these days but will post if find anything worthwhile
Other things cheaper in M than A are
- Vaseline body sprays both aloe (green) fresh + blue one (both 150ml & larger size)
- Golden Wonder 6pk - Tomotoe Ketchup flavour0 -

Thanks Celebrate, I dont mind a bit of fun, but did appreciate someone coming along to answer my query, it was only asked in the hope that I could perhaps help someone out.
Im not sure I have the thick skin to buy something and intentionally take it back knowing part was a voucher (although it did once happen by accident on the lager:o) But thank you for the suggestion, as it may be useful for someone!:T0 -
