Phew! For the first time in days I've managed to catch up :)

Can admit now to nearly peeing my pants this afternoon when I used the biggest APG I've ever had
I was half expecting a real trouting and made my husband come with me in case this happened.
I chose a really smiley SA and she couldn't have been nicer
Her exact words were "It's got to be done, hasn't it!!!"
She just said that someone's wine must be really cheap ;)

After I'd said I intended buying it in 3's, I had my three grandchildren in tow and in my haste just chucked the 9 wines in and forgot to split the shop at the checkout. I won't be doing that again in a hurry.....the stress wasn't worth it :o:o

I bought some clothing today (and some more wine :o) Worst thing was that in my panic, I forgot to use my beanz coupon :rotfl::rotfl:

I gave over a £19.77 APG the SA said "Wow thats a big one" my O/H said "Thats what all the girls say" :o She keyed it in without calling a super
Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)

I would be here - haven't touched the wine glitch, and had no bavaria (anyone else notice the vouchers for that in the paper today, sales must have gone down!! :rotfl::rotfl:)

Only problem is I'm addicted to this site so probably need a stint anyway!

    Another one, that`s 3 of us :D

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Good morning
I have bought the wrong wine but have a voucher can I return the wine but still spend the voucher. Any help would be appreciated

Returning the wine will not have any effect on your being able to use the voucher if that's what you mean - it doesn't change anything on the system like voiding the voucher.

Seeing as the APG was generated by the choc you bought and not the wine I don't see any problem with it, but others clearly do and using the argument that the wine helped to make up your 8 items - is this as bad as/worse than buying clothes that "don't fit" to make up the total so they can use a conditional spend coupon (then return the clothes for refund)? At least you bought the wine with the intent of keeping it.

    It's only a game

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me the info I needed, couldn't track down the 8 pack of plenty unfortunately but I did foray over to Boots again to see if they had restocked on the 18p ultra towels, and they had! Got a few more, there were LOOOADS plus they had a good number of other varieties at 33p!

I also have a tip for anyone who has noticed the half price No7 make-up appearing in their local (it wasn't in mine yesterday but appeared today), I got these vouchers from the ACM....

    2 x 100 points wyb any No7 lipstick
    2 x 250 points wyb any No7 foundation

....in two seperate transactions I bought two lipsticks reduced from £10 to £5, and two loose powders reduced from £11 to £5.50. The points worked on the reduced stuff so I essentially paid £4 for each lipstick and only £3 for each powder! :j:j:j

    Hope that helps someone :D:D:D

I had a bit of a run in in Boots today - ended up dumping my £50 odd basket of goods in the middle of the shop and marching out in a strop.

The denied all knowledge of the perfume points offer (and refused to try one through the till to see if it worked). And they wouldn't let me use any points coupons cos they said they had a 10 points per £ offer on now . It wasn't so much that I couldn't use my extra points - it was the smug, supercilious 'don't bother me - I'm just not interested in customers' attitude of the stuck up moo behind the counter that ruffled my feathers.

I asked that question on here once, and got absolutely flamed ...so I can tell you what everyone will say ....but i'm sure some people on here have done it, even if they don't admit it!

Actually Ive probably done it my mistake getting new wombled receipts mixed up with ones ive used that haven't been written on .... it is the staff members job to write on the receipt before giving it back to you.

I' m sure you are right Debs.
