SpiralingDown wrote: »Most of the blame lies with her mum. She doesn't stick with things when they get hard so punishments are never adhered to. Her mum gets so fed up asking them to do things that she just does them herself.
The child got a shock when she found out that her gran wouldn't be lifting up after her and if her room got messy she had to sort it herself. She also soon learnt how to use the washing machine due to having no clean clothing, she tried to bribe her aunt to do her washing by offering to look after the little one.
She soon found out that if you didn't have a job in her grans you were given a few chores to do to help out. Her's we're helping with dinner, doing dishes or hoovering floors, they changed each day but she got bored after a few minutes so was usually left unfinished, this caused lots of rows because her aunts all pulled their weight even though they were out working, even the toddler knew his job was helping to tidy his toys away before dinner.
We've just given up telling her mum she needs to be more consistent, even her partner has told her to be stricter with them instead of running around after them. I think her mum's been trying to make up for what their Dad put them all through and as the eldest child she witnessed more so her mum thinks she needs more attention.
I don't know
She would have been better off staying with her Gran, at least she was learning that she had to pull her weight in terms of doing chores. Her Mum is not doing her any favours as she is growing up spoilt and not very likeable...I think your son was right when he said she only deserves a small gift..good for him...:) He sounds as if he could teach her a few lessons in life...:):)

Ive just had a till spit in adsa for £12 off a £60 spend, Im guessing you only get these when you use your nectar card?
Does this mean it can only be redeemed with the same nectar card?
Im just thinking that I would never spend £60 in one shop, so I thought if I wandered round the store until I found someone with a very full trolley, I could give it to them, but dont want to do that if it has to be presented with the same card?0 -

Nothing to do with supermarkets etc but can somebody please tell me how to sort out my Word documents ?
Usually when I type letters etc, the spacing comes out as single spacing. Now its all coming out with double spacing - which takes up too much room and doesn't look right. Its the same whether I use Works or Office - its still Word 2007. I've clicked on the top bar where it says Paragraph and the line spacing bit with the arrows (hope that makes sense) and its set on 1.0. If I then click on Line Spacing Options it also shows Singl and the Preview box looks right - but the B***** letters come out double when I type. Its driving me mad and I really would appreciate it if somebody could talk me through how to sort it.ELITE 5:2

For those needing cheese. Lidl weekend wonders this week have 400g coloured cheese for 99p a block. You have to get there for opening time as the weekend wonder deals sell out really quickly. Also they are doing Branson pickle for 69p nom nom. HTH xCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
