Seen suggestions about leaving light on all night will try this.
Could do with moving washer out and looking behind and cleaning but i dont think i will be strong enough to move it its wedged in small opening that it just fits in. Will try when i get home from mums.0 -
Having seen FK's pic, I am off to try a larger Asda.
Collected up my neighbour's gift of 5 slugs off my decking, popped them in a brown envelope (with a large piece of lettuce so as they don't starve whilst he is out at work) and have written him a nice little note on the front, and just going to pop it through his letter box on my way out
"Please find enclosed unwanted gift. I don't need any more slugs thanks, I have enough of my own.
This is now the third time I have seen you donate them over to me, but perhaps in the future you would be kind enough to re-home them elsewhere. Thanks"
Thing is, the sticky has worn off the envelope and I can't seal it upOh well, let's hope he is not late home from work

East Coast park their train overnight in a siding just outside Aberdeen station and the siding is a couple of hundred yards from me. They are supposed to shut the thing down overnight but from time to time they don't. Obviously there is something wrong with it and they don't want to shut it down in case it doesn't start again the next morning. So in the dead of night it can be heard very clearly.
Anyway, Tramadol is one of those 'party drugs' and has a high street value. An old lady (ex) friend of mine used to dish hers out to me like sweeties to take the edge of my hip, knee and ankle pain and I tried to buy some over the counter in Egypt. Big mistake, the pharmicist all but called the police, in fact he would have if my little Egyptian friend hadn't managed to convince him that I am prescribed them back home for pain relief but that I'd forgot to take enough with me. He still wouldn't sell me any though. You can buy pretty much anything you want over the counter in Egypt but Tramadol is one of few things you need a script from the doctor for.
I was flying from Shanghai to Frankfurt. Once we got in the air they dished out the drinks. I had two vodkas and cokes and another vodka and coke that came with the meal that they dished out shortly afterwards followed by two Tramadol. I closed my eyes and tossed and turned like I usually do whilst trying to sleep on a plane. I thought to myself, sod it, this us no good, I'll just watch a movie. As I was firing up the personal TV screen the captain announced "Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing":eek::eek:
Tramadol + Alcohol = big no no, except if you want to zonk out on a flight.
But after doing some research on it, I only ever take enough for the outbound flight as you never know what countries it's illegal in.
No way I'm taking that to Cuba - doubt if I'd ever be seen again!!
Gotta go - really have to get things done! Got 10/10 in a geography quiz so it must be a good day!
Might see you all later, but if there's anything I need to know pm me cos I can't keep up!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

The £1 off voucher in Julys Asda magazine is valid until 29th of September.

My A still has them at £2.50 so £1.50 after voucher. (thanks for vouchers guys n gals).
although someone said that they had been £7 in T on a bogof but were now £3.50 but not sure if still bogof. Worth checking though. Dont get rid of vouchers just yet!Never put off til tomorrow what you can do today. (the glitch might be over by then!!)0 -

apparently they guide stores as to 6 max per customer per day but it is upto the local stores/managers discretion:mad: how can it be called a policy then?
am scared about going into my local now, i know if there is more loo roll i might not be able to resist, just don't want to get stopped by the gestapo again:(GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Not a good start to the day, just spotted a flea on the dog, looks like she caught fleas from rellies dog while they looked after her when we were away. Even though she has had front line treatment.
I have asked for help on the pet forum and am trying not to think about it as she is curled up on my lap, ewwwwwww.
Give her a garlic tablet once a day, any fleas that take a bite out of her will soon sod off! And it's cheaper and better than those over priced chemicals.0 -
I have an epson sx 445w (I think) wireless has the little screen on the front so you can see what you are printing, I pay around £10 for 12 inks - 3 of each colour off Ebay
I just popped out to Aldi and Staples - Aldi sell something called Re-gen oil (like Bio-oil for the skin). Bio oil is about £8 from Boots and Aldi were selling theirs for £4. Anyway, it was £1.99 in my store today yippee:jTiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -

Ooh thanks for that, never thought of trying garlic, will try some on my cats.
We have used various flea treatments, frontine etc but nothing works for more than a week.0
