Narla, you could just take the wine back for a refund (with the receipt). Say you got it all for a party tonight which has been cancelled. I would keep the other bits though, so it looks more genuine. Obviously if you do that don't use the APG voucher.
  • Good morning everyone.

No way I am going to catch up, will have to be behind you lot for a while now.

Anyone remember me saying that we had left a trail of problems with countries we've visited, riots in Kenya, uprising in Egypt, tsuname in Thailand etc? Well, we booked for Cuba last week to go this Tuesday, and already a tropical storm is creating havoc!! Still, it will be long gone by the time we get there (I hope!!) Just a note though, avoid it for at least a couple of months after we return, if the Americans decide to invade it will be then!!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

*Narla did buy 12 but it only shows 10 as that is the max asda compare

That's interesting - thanks for the explanation!

Haven't previously seen an example like that - where someone has bought a greater qty than shown (due to the item limit).

I was given tramadol but found it made me sleep a lot, not very good when sole carer of child
I gave most of them to my brother who damaged his knees playing football and waiting on second op on one of them to remove/replace? Cartalidge but kept a strip just in case I need any.
I have found though not to tell relatives what meds I'm on, have had many calls asking for one or two pills. On one occasion a friend of my cousin asked about the tramadol and how much would I sell the box for  I didn't realise until then that people were 'adicted' to them, I had to hide the two boxes I had left at that point in case he stole them and the other meds I had (totalling over 600 pills of which 200 were tramadol and 100 my reflux meds)
I did get an education that night about the street value of my meds and to be very careful who knew what I had, I just wish my mum would be as careful she has on occasion said to people that I'm on the same meds as they are and if they run out or forget to pick up their script to ask her and they can borrow some
    Mothers!

Good morning all, yes yes, I know it's early but I had a pretty restless night not to mention the train keeping me awake. East Coast park their train overnight in a siding just outside Aberdeen station and the siding is a couple of hundred yards from me. They are supposed to shut the thing down overnight but from time to time they don't. Obviously there is something wrong with it and they don't want to shut it down in case it doesn't start again the next morning. So in the dead of night it can be heard very clearly.

Anyway, Tramadol is one of those 'party drugs' and has a high street value. An old lady (ex) friend of mine used to dish hers out to me like sweeties to take the edge of my hip, knee and ankle pain and I tried to buy some over the counter in Egypt. Big mistake, the pharmicist all but called the police, in fact he would have if my little Egyptian friend hadn't managed to convince him that I am prescribed them back home for pain relief but that I'd forgot to take enough with me. He still wouldn't sell me any though. You can buy pretty much anything you want over the counter in Egypt but Tramadol is one of few things you need a script from the doctor for.

I was flying from Shanghai to Frankfurt. Once we got in the air they dished out the drinks. I had two vodkas and cokes and another vodka and coke that came with the meal that they dished out shortly afterwards followed by two Tramadol. I closed my eyes and tossed and turned like I usually do whilst trying to sleep on a plane. I thought to myself, sod it, this is no good, I'll just watch a movie. As I was firing up the personal TV screen the captain announced "Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing":eek::eek:

Tramadol + Alcohol = big no no, except if you want to zonk out on a flight.

But after doing some research on it, I only ever take enough for the outbound flight as you never know what countries it's illegal in.

Got a wine and choc shop today so will know at 11.15 if its still working.
Problem is I found some packs of 8 plenty that cost £2 and I stupidly put it through with my shopping and guess I should have paid seperately for them :eek:.
Will that affect the apg or wont it compare anyhow. Have to wait and see I guess. :o
if your lucky it wont compare, if it does it could take £4 from your apg per pack. good luck ill keep an eye out for your post
