Catch you in a bit. Gonna clean out my fridge and under sink cupboard whilst the family sleeps. Once I wake up trying to go back to sleep is futile!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Yep. Bread n milk included. I also get through a LOT of milk. We get the 4 pints of full fat and water it down 50/50. Tastes like semi skimmed which the family haven't complained about. we still get through 3 to 4 x 4 pint bottles a week before diluting.
I haven't brought full price bread for years. My loaves never cost more than 15p. I buy in the evenings when they are marked down and will bulk buy when they are priced 15p or under and freeze them. I also make chapatis by hand as they cost pence to make and occasionally make herby cheese bread for soups or for buffet spreads.
I haven't updated my signature yet from yesterday's shopping. I got me some butter;)
£30 seems extreme for an average size family but with help from these threads, it is achievable but requires massive discipline.
I don't think the family are missing out on goodies or nutrition. They just have to get used to me going on mad sprees when a shopportunity arises
might try something like this maybe start at £50 and see how it goes, off to a good start though, dont need butter, beans pie filling etc etc etc thanls to all the deals that have been mentioned on this fab site!0 -

Well, my fridge is sparkling and my signature is updated. The OH and the sprogs are going camping tomorrow for 4 days which means I can eat what I want with no one hankering for meat and junk food. I can forage away to my hearts content too. :j
Unless there is a mighty glitch, I shouldn't have to hit the shops now!!!
Give the GC a whirl. Keep track of spends in your signature. I used to keep a receipt book but I find it much easier to update the signature after a spend instead. :A:):A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

We have a B****** among us read this with regards to the Heniz coupon.
Unfortunately that's the power of t'interweb. I enjoy a good Elite awayday as much as the next woman, but doing it on the T facebook page is only going to raise the profile of this thread. I was also surprised to see one or two on there apparently using their real facebook accounts.
