You're right it's good I'm getting an mot;)just checked the form and it really is everything, diabetes, thyroid, cholestorol, menopause:o:oLiver. You're family history sounds so much like mine and I'm so glad I gave up smoking.I'm sure my cholestrol will be high, my dad's was 9 point something:eek::eek:but his body made bad cholestrol:(
I am going to give some face creams a go that are meant to make marks fade but only if their not too expensive;););)It does look like a liverspot right under my eye and but foundation does cover it:)If they give me a diet to follow it'll probably give me the kick up the bum I needMy doctor is really nice but she takes know prisoners and says it like it is, so god help me when she gets the results back:eek::eek:
Does sound very similar doesn't it!!
My GP told me that very often high cholesterol is hereditary and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it....and in these cases, medication is the only answer.
The Heart Foundation diet is pretty easy to follow and more common sense than anything else, but the weight dropped off me and my cholesterol levels halved.
I lost about 2 stone and the difference was amazing. The nurse made me go in every month so she could weigh and take blood pressure etc.
I'm just mad I let it all creep back on again after doing so well:mad::mad:. It's taking longer to lose it this time around.
You giving up smoking is the best thing though. I've been a non smoker for 18 years nowMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
