worry-wart wrote: »No problem. Pattylabelle brought it to our attention but there's been some confusion about what is allowed. There was a £5 off £40 MOC in the Daily Mail recently. PLB checked in Belfast and was told no, the coupon had to have been issued instore. I checked in Ards and was told yes they were allowed. I think as long as the coupon can be used instore Ts will take it but for example, a MOC for £10 off £50 online shop shouldn't be accepted.
The T&Cs are vague in places so arm yourself with a leaflet and make sure. I think you can also use Co-Op and Boots MOCs but I've never seen any conditional spends for them so can't help or confirm.
I have been quite lucky with SA's in my local T's so far, they don't pay much attention to coupons so long as they scan.
Being able to use sainsbobs conditional spends in T's will be great as I never get conditional spend coupons for T's, but almost always get one in sainsbobs (but don't shop there that often)-- Quit smoking 27/8/12  --0 -
So pleased you posted this:T:T I've been saving for ages in two big pots and just been thinking about cashing it in but to tight to pay the 7.5p commission(Think thats how much it is) at coinsavers.Going to do this and then just put the equivalent to one side in notes:)
..
Have you been in a bank lately? I know some HSBC have the coin counters similar to the coinsavers ones and they pay them straight into your account, not sure if other banks have them though!
I can never quite believe it when people stand there shoving money into those! Not only do you pay the commission, but they print off the "money" to spend in the shop you are in!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Since hubby changed the computer recently to a later mac, I cannot print off facebook vouchers! I have tried everything but it aborts the files?!
THis one is fantastic though as I can just print directly! Im chuffed to bits!!!!!!!!
I think you need the Coupon Printer installed for most Facebook coupons. Also check that Java is installed and up to date?
If that doesn't work I'll have another think...0 -

I thought it was just me who didn't get conditional spends for Ts. I can't remember the last time I got one that wasn't a helping hand and I barely shop there these days. Always jealous when the rest of the gang on here talk about them. Maybe we smell over here :rotfl:No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -
I got caught in this earlier. It was so heavy the guttering on the house couldn't cope. After the rain stopped there was the loudest thunder I've ever heard for about 25 minutes followed by a few flashes of fork lightening.:eek:0
