Typical cant pay with capital one either.... I was going to pay my vanquis Monday, so I shall let you know0 -
I ended up ringing them directly, and paid over the phone. Not something i would normally do but it saves any late payment charges and additional interest.

You can also send money by direct bank transfer, but make sure to send a quid the first time to ensure its all set up correctly and reaches the end point as it should.0

How long has this been going on for? I hope in 3 days time you don't find both bank accounts have been debited and Vanquis have been double paid ......0 -

I'm very tempted to post my bank account details here.
Oddly, details can be found on Vanquis' website in their FAQ at http://www.vanquis.co.uk/faq, under the obscure question "How can I make a payment to my account?"Over the Phone or Online:
Via your bank’s telephone or internet banking service, you can make a one off payment or set up a standing order. Simply quote the following details: (1) Our sort code: 60-95-94, (2) Our bank account number: 0000 0001 and (3) Your Vanquis 16 digit card account number. Please allow 3-5 working days for your payment to reach your account via this method.0 -

Vanquis do provide their banking details for you to do internet banking payments to them (SnowTiger provided you with this info), but Vanquis does not support the faster payment scheme yet.
I set the same thing up using my Natwest online payment system. When I rang Vanquis to let them know that my payment wasn't showing up on my Vanquis account yet, the rep said it was because they do not support Faster payment and that I would have to wait 3-5 days as normal. It will take you the same length of time to just do it through the Vanquis website.0 -

According to my Santander statement my last payment to Vanquis went through as Faster Payment:
And it was credited to my Vanquis account the same day:
Although payments seem to take a few days to show up on my Vanquis account online.0 -
well i sent a one pound test faster payment to vanquis using my natwest account yesterday hopefully it will show up tomorrow i also have a santander account but why would faster payments work with one bank and not the other ? very confusing0
