Morning all,
I have a 15month 0% Halifax CC, which i have had from last December, therefore still on 0%, however last month we had to fly home early from holidays and the only way we could afford it was to use the CC. My statement this month now reads :
£54.91 - Balance Trasnfers at 0.059% per day (23.95%)
£3.81 - Purchases at 0.059% per day (23.59%)
£0.00 - Cash
Therefore i am now paying close to £60/month interest? Is this correct, once you actually spend on a card is the balance transfer amount due interest on it?
Thanks,

Doesn't make sense. Have you missed or been late with a payment ?
The BT 0% rate will still apply if you then use the card. How much have you actually spent on the card and how much was still payable under the 0% ?0 -
I know, i'm not sure it's right either. Breakdown:
Statement 6/8/11 to 13/8/12 (sorry must have got card in Aug 11) however i have been paying interest a few months now!!! Holiday was in June.
Spend on CC
Purchases £861.02
BT £3400.00
Cash taken out £82.91
Interest charged on :
Purchases £8.91
BT £109.96
Cash £1.19
Fees charged
Initial BT £102.00
Taking cash out £3
Missed payment fees £0
Opening Bal 6/8/11 0.00
Closing bal 13/8/12 £3327.57
Repaid between 6/8/11-13/8/12 £1,253042
I had orginally been payment min payment at 0% until a few months ago, then all of a sudden interest is £55-£60 for june, july and aug statements so assuming because of the spend on the card. However, looking at the breakdown, the higher interest is on the BT!

It looks like you have been paying interest on the BT since June, so either you've done something wrong like paid less than the min, or they have wrongly ended the 0% period. I think you need to call them and ask.0
