in Credit cards
Just been watching Working Lunch, they report that Natwest are changing their rules to state that transactions paid over the internet with Nochex will from 1st May now incur a Cash Advance Fee
This means you will be charged £3+ each time you pay for anything by Nochex! If you are with Natwest, get in touch with them to complain! It is not a cash advance, it's a credit card transaction!
Why? Every other bank will jump on this new money making scheme and it one of those attempts to freely grab money from us.
Guess What? Paypal is not affected!
Might sound ok, but that reduces the competition between PayPal and Nochex.
I still find it odd that PayPal is not affected. Sounds fishy.

nochex - only used it once.. back when ebay used billpoint(before they bought paypal) so that doesnt affect me... also seen the bit on working lunch that said MASTERCARD is using the codes that flag it as an advance... that will affect me as only have a MC but only if they target paypal... as this is my chosen and much used payment system..
was about to start a new thread asking if this is a charge against u, can you claim it back as with the whole bank revolution thats going on?0
