Any info please

Hi guys i am trying to get my credit charges back and possibly try for ppi on my capital one account which has now gone with capquest as i couldnt afford to repay, i sent capquest a letter who told me to get intouch with capital one i used the account number that is at the top of the capquest letters as my account number as it looks like a credit card number which i thought was my capital one account number but turn out it is not? i am unsure of this as i have moved 3 times since having this and destroyed all info, they are now asking for £10 for a customer subject acces request(what is this and do i need this? or/and £5 for statements, they are also asking for this as a cheque, as i have a lot of debt i dont have a current account only a cash card which i cant get a cheque book for is there ways of getting a cheque book somehow or maybe use postal orders but i know the post office charge for postal orders too?

  • Up to you - if you want the info you will have to pay.
One postal order for £10 (SAR is all you will need) will not cost the earth.
I think any charges such as interest and late payment fees are legitimate and you won't get any back - the PPI you might as long as you can prove that it was missold.
