  • just browsing as i only come on here looking for tips when i am interested in something or other.
    financial stress is very debilitating.
i hope by now you have received enough advice to enable you to take the first tentative steps to improving your life.
your local council will have details of people who have a spare room to rent so you may be able to find somewhere that still fits your criteria re being near to your workplace.
i am so sorry to read that at times you are unable to afford to feed yourself.
i recently read an article in a non redtop paper regarding food poverty.
there are now 13 million of us living below the poverty level.
many cant even afford food after paying rent/utility bills etc.
there are now many charity food banks being set up.
if you cant afford food you can be given a authorisation slip to go to one of these charities and you will be given 3 days supply of food and drink, for however many people are in your family.
these slips/vouchers can be obtained from your GP,a social worker or the jobcentreplus.
what is available after the 3 days i do not know, but there must be something in place.
please dont be too proud to take advantage of this option.
it is a sad inditement of our so called civilised society that such a predicament exists.
google "trussell trust" for further details.
    best wishes.
